Full description from the Toronto International Film Festival website:

Chen Zhen, brought to life for the first time Bruce Lee в “Fist of Fury”, is not only a cultural hero of China and a symbol of Chinese strength and pride, but also a character who redefined Chinese martial cinema, “pushing” it forward into the “Golden Age”. Donnie Yen, one of the best martial artists of our generation, who recreated the image for the first time Chen Wife in the 1995 television series, returned to this role again under the able direction Andrew Lau. Combining history, intrigue and dazzling action scenes, Lau took the well-known legend of a man defending the dignity of a nation in a new way, turning it into a highly entertaining action adventure.

Presumed dead after defeating Japanese fighters at the Hongku dojo, avenging the murder of his teacher, Chen Zhen During the Civil War, he joined the so-called Labor Corps. Determined to return home to protect his country, he arrives in Shanghai disguised as a wealthy businessman named Qi. He quickly becomes friends with famous mafia boss Mr. Liu (Anthony Wong), the owner of the Casablanca nightclub, and the stunning Kiki (Shu Qi), the manager of the club. With Japanese influence rapidly expanding in China, the military issues a death list, throwing Shanghai into a state of complete panic. When the city begins to be murdered, Chen, disguised as a masked warrior, begins to protect people who have become living targets.

Magnificent image Chen, performed Donnie Yen no longer represents the boastful youth immortalized Bruce Lee, but represents the image of a person who is overwhelmed with regret and responsibility. Lau, bringing to the screen unforgettable performances from supporting characters, Masterfully tackles the complex relationships between camaraderie, trust and love. And the scenery of the great Shanghai is simply breathtaking.

Even though this latest adaptation of the story is about Chen Zhene Large-scale and ambitious, the legendary hero still remains in the foreground, and his relationship with his homeland is the core of the film.

Search on Tfail for the name Jing wu men and the name Donnie Yen. But there is only a compilation of the last 15 episodes out of 30 (02:00:44).
You can also search for the title Fist Of Fury (Sworn Revenge).

The theme of patriotism will naturally be the main theme of the film... As for the blows, I think they look pretty cool... the only negative is the Bruce Lee-style screams - I think this is unnecessary. The new film should be completely new.

Most likely, in terms of emotional intensity, the creators want to convey the tone of “The Dark Knight” - the drama of a masked superhero, torn by internal contradictions... and desperately trying to save his people (nation)..
It’s clear that they can’t match Nolan’s genius, but nevertheless, I wonder what will happen in the end?...what will surprise Donnie Yen?
It seemed to me that in the fight scenes in the video there is no emphasis on blows (contact), they are kind of empty....Nevertheless, Donny’s style is felt :)
    What do you think?
