A few years ago Keanu Reeves announced his intention to finance a new action film with Chen Hu (Chen Hu) starring. At the same time, he mentioned that he might play the role of a villain in this film. There is no exact data on this yet, but what is known is that Keanu spent the last few months practicing in Los Angeles Tai chi (Tai Chi).
According to the newspaper “Chinese Businessmen” December 10, 2010 Reeves signed a contract with "China Film Group Corporation" to finance a project called “Taiji Tiger” | “Tai Chi Tiger” (Taiji Hu | Tai-Chi Tiger). Fight choreographer and Sichuan kung fu master Chen Hu, student of the legendary Yuen Woo-ping, should play the main role in the film. Keanu Reeves met with Chen Hu on the set of the first “Matrix”, and subsequently trained under his supervision for the second and third parts.
Shooting "Taiji Tiger" should begin in April 2011.
