Amy Johnston and Yayan Ruhian team up for a new project - "The Gate"

"Raid" star Yayan Ruhian и Amy Johnston (Lady Bloodfight) join forces for a TV series"Gates" (The Gate). This project will be directed by Kelly Madison, best known as an actress from the TV series Scrubs.  

The plot is based on a mystical story about an angel who uses his powers to fight the forces of darkness.

The author of the project said:

We have assembled a world-class team that is working hard to ensure the success of the series.

Indeed, despite a rather modest track record in cinema, all the roles played by these actors were noticeable.

Yayan Ruhian first appearing in "Merantau"along with Iko Uwais, he declared himself as a serious martial artist, and after filming two "Raids", his name was already used to advertise films in which he played only cameo roles (Yakuza Apocalypse, Gangster).

Amy Johnston - one of the few actresses who can kick the butt of serious fighters and show off serious stunts. She primarily does stunt work in films, including big-budget blockbusters (Iron Man, The First Avenger, Amy is now on the Deadpool team).

Very often, fans of martial artists want to see their idols in joint projects, this will be one of them. Time will tell how successful this cooperation will be, but for now we can only guess. Do you have a forecast?
