In a statement today made near the statue Bruce Lee on the “Avenue of Stars” in Kovlun, representatives of “Media Asia” reported that principal photography will begin at the end of this month on a new biopic about the famous film actor and fighter called "Bruce Lee, my brother" (Bruce Lee, My Brother), which will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Lee's birth.
The role of Bruce Lee went to Aarif Lee, the role of his girlfriend will be played by debutante Jennifer Tse. The remaining roles will include Angela Gong, MC Jin, Hanjin, Charles Ying and Wilfred Lau.
Director Raymond Yip Wai-man was given a budget of HK$35 million (US$4,5 million). Produced by producer Manfred Wong and Media Asia Films, JA Media, J' Star Group, Beijing Antaeus Film and Beijing Meng Ze Culture & Media.
