Action movie Nunchucks begins its run in Chinese cinemas

The film was released in Chinese cinemas earlier this month. “Nunchaku” / “Nunchucks” (Nunchucks) director, actor and choreographer Dragon Chen / Dragon Chen (Chen Tianxing / Chen Tianxing). According to the director, despite the fact that there are no major movie stars in the film, it will be a real film about kung Fu, without any special effects, cables or stunt doubles.

The main character is a director obsessed with kung fu, played by Bruce Lee. In his desire to make a film about Bruce, he neglects his family. As a result, his wife leaves him and his son is kidnapped. By saving his son, he finally understands the true essence of owning the nunchaku.

Chen Tianxing admitted that most of the plot is based on his personal life experiences. He studied martial arts for 26 years, and his idol was Bruce Lee. Previously, he made 8 films with kung Fu, but none of them were released in theaters. During this filming, he lost everything, and his girlfriend also left him.

The director said that the on-screen battles were filmed “for real.” The fighters fought, of course, not forgetting about their own safety, and this is a very big plus for such a film. In all the fight scenes, in the bamboo forest, in the swamp, on the rock, on the slope, there were no effects. Because of this on-screen demonstration of real kung fu, the film won the highest award at 5th International Film Festival in Cologne and gained new foreign fans. At the moment, kung fu fans and Bruce Lee Booked tickets for shows in more than 200 cinemas.
