Wu Dang: small details of the press conference

The first press conference dedicated to the director's new action adventure film was held in Hubei Province Patrick Leung "Wu Dang" (formerly Big Wudang Clan). Some actors including Yang Mi, Luis Fan, Vincent Zhao и Dennis To, appeared before journalists in stage costumes that were created by the Oscar-winning Japanese designer Amy Wada.

At the press conference, the actors opened a symbolic treasure chest that the film's characters will hunt for. Yang Mi, starring in her first action movie, admitted: “Even though I’m the worst fighter, in the movie I beat them all.” Vincent Zhao praised physical fitness Yang Mi, Louis Fan joked: “She is so beautiful that she can defeat anyone with just one look.”

After finishing work on the scenes on Wudang Mountain, the production team will travel to Shanghai, where the main scenes will be filmed. The film is due out next summer.
