Descriptions of several of his books:

Brooklyn Monk: American at the Shaolin Temple

Travel writer Antonio Graceffo began his eight-month odyssey by living with forest monks and learning Muay Thai at a temple in Thailand. He rode a bicycle to Burma, climbed to the top of Chiang Mai Mountain and was the first to venture to the source of the Doi Saket River. departing from his usual humorously egotistical, if not narcissistic and offensive, writing style, he spent some time with the Akha hill tribe and documented the plight of its marginalized people. From a canoe trip on the Maekok River to hunting with bows and primitive firearms with his accompanying tribe, the book is funny, informative and expressive.

On three wheels through the desert of death

After studying at the Shaolin Temple and living in Thailand, writer Antonio Graceffo decides to take some time off. He chooses to ride a tricycle through the Taklamakan Desert. Not the kind of rest he wanted! He then accepts an invitation to participate in the world famous Thai elephant polo tournament. Many wonderful and unexpected things happened during these travels! Anyone who likes true adventure stories must read this book.

Adventures on Formosa

Most people are familiar with Taiwan as a place where computer technology is created, but Antonio Graceffo discovered that the island of Formosa is incredibly beautiful, and, if desired, provides unlimited opportunities for travel. Antonio rode 1500 km around the island on his bicycle. Then he climbed one of the highest peaks, walked along the largest rivers, and searched for the body of a missing American in the deepest gorges. Throughout the trip, on occasion, he continued to practice boxing and kung fu.
