The Hollywood adaptation of one of the most famous anime of its time "Cowboy Bebop" Long story. For a long time, fans have been waiting for a feature film with Keanu Reeves starring. But the project did not work out, and the idea "picked up" streaming giant Netflix in 2019. And then the pandemic came and the filming that had started was postponed for almost six months.
But here's the joy - Netflix presented trailers and the release date of the much-awaited 10-episode space western based on the work Shinichiro Watanabe.
Synopsis: in 2071, the profession of a bounty hunter has become popular - a space cowboy traveling through habitable space in search of criminals, for whose capture alive there is a reward. This is how the crew of the interplanetary spaceship “Bebop” earns their living, on which fate brings together four people and one dog.
The main roles are assigned John Cho (Star Trek trilogy) Mustafa Jakir ("Pretenders") Daniella Pineda ("Jurassic World 2"), Alex Hassell (TV series "The Boys"), taekwondo master, stuntman and actor Kali Nelle (“Black Widow”) and others.
Animated "Cowboy Bebop" was famous for its action scenes, including hand-to-hand combat, since the main character of the story, Spike Spiegel, is a martial artist, but playing him John Cho has no experience in hand-to-hand combat. However, a very good Hong Kong stuntman and wushu practitioner comes to his aid on camera Jason Lee (“Cyber”, “Golden Work”, “Shock Wave” duology). A veteran is responsible for the stunt work in the series. Allan Poppleton (“Parker”, “Mechanic: Resurrection”, “Jungle Cruise”), who began his career back in 1992. Our old friend from Thailand was in charge of hand-to-hand combat previs Patrick "Kazoo" Tang.

And here we have a continuation of the story about the witcher Geralt of Rivia, the destined child Cirilla, the tragic sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg and a good dozen characters of all stripes in the setting of a fictional fantasy universe.
The main roles are still assigned Henry Cavill (“The Agents of U.N.C.L.E.”, “Man of Steel”), Ane Chalorte (TV series "Murder by Alphabet") and young Free Allan (TV series “In the Desert of Death”). Among the “notable” newcomers who joined the project were: Chris Fulton ("Outlaw King") Christopher Hivju (TV series “Game of Thrones”) and other actors.
It’s interesting that for the second season, the hand-to-hand fights were pre-vised by a Frenchman, well known to us from comedy short films. Godfroy Rykwert, and among the familiar names in the stunt camp we found a Briton Jack Berry.
