Streaming giant Netflix continues to delight action movie fans. Following the series "U" is for killer и "Avatar: The Legend of Aang", the hands of filmmakers reached out to another hit - a space western "Cowboy Bebop" (Cowboy BeBop).
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which is an adaptation of the cult 1998 Japanese animated series directed by Shinichiro Watanabe.
Synopsis: 2071. Humanity has long scattered throughout the galaxy, settling habitable worlds. But, of course, not everyone lives equally well. The united authorities do not have time to monitor the raging crime, so so-called “bounty hunters” come into fashion, who roam space in search of fugitive criminals and catch them for money. It's about a ship called Bebop and its crew: the charismatic retired cop Jack Black, the gloomy guy Spike Spiegel, the girl from the distant past Fay Valentine, the young hacker Ed and the smart dog Ein. Of course, each character has a mysterious and sinister past that will come back to haunt them more than once.
Surely our brother will have something to look at, because in the original a lot of attention is paid to hand-to-hand combat. Moreover, in the full-length animated film "Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door" (2001) hired specialists from China to stage hand-to-hand combat scenes. So maybe we'll see some familiar names.
An attempt to make a film adaptation of Bebop has already been made by Hollywood. Then I signed up for the project myself Keanu Reeves, who was supposed to play the role of Spike Spiegel. And the role of Jack Black was actively predicted Bruce Willis. However, the project never took off.
