Trailers for the films "Paradox", "Invulnerable Dragon" and "Empty Hands"

Films are made quite quickly these days. Especially if everything is in order with the budget. Not long ago we learned about the director’s joint project Wilson Yip, director Sammo Hunga and actor Tony JAA called "Paradox" (formerly “Destiny”), and the film’s trailer has already appeared.

Мы already wrote about the film, publishing not only the official synopsis, but also footage from the action film. It remains to be recalled that the producer of the film is listed as Soi Cheng (“Stars of Destiny 2”), and in the director’s chair is a venerable and now fashionable director Wilson Yip (Ip Man trilogy). A classic of Chinese cinema is responsible for the action scenes Sammo Hungg.

Played the main role in "Paradox" Louis Koo, without which, as it seems to us, not a single Chinese film can do now. Louis has the following actors on his side: Tony JAA ("Ong Bak") Wu Yue ("Foundation of the Army") Gordon Lam ("Heaven is on Fire") Ken Lo ("Drunk Master 2"), Stephy Tan (“Guillotines”) and others.

The exact premiere date of “Paradox” is still unknown, but the creators promise that the action film will be released before the end of 2017.

In any case, the official poster and stylish trailer of the film have already appeared.

The second trailer for "Paradox" has appeared online.

The following trailer belongs to a film no less anticipated by fans of action cinema. We're talking about an action movie "Made in Kowloon". Although, apparently, the title of the film has been changed again. Previously it was called "The Man with the Dragon Tattoo", and the trailer that appeared online is called "Invulnerable Dragon" (The Invincible Dragon). It is absolutely unclear what title the film will reach our audience with.

"Invulnerable Dragon" is a thriller directed by a classic director Fruta Chana (“Dumplings”, “Three Extremes”) with an actively gaining popularity martial artist and actor Max Zhang (“Ip Man 3”) starring. Zhang's main opponent in the film was an MMA fighter and actor Anderson "Spider" Silva (“Never Give Up”, “Hand to Hand Combat”).

There is still no official synopsis for the thriller; we only know that Zhang will play a police detective who saves someone close to him from the clutches of organized crime.

In addition to Max Zhang and Anderson Silva, The Unbreakable Dragon also stars: Louis Koo (yes, yes, he showed up here too), Annie Liu ("Inspector's Visit") Juju Chan ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny"), Kevin Cheng ("Ip Man: The Last Battle") Ruby Lin ("Shanghai Connection"), Stephy Tan ("Rage Tokens") Richard Ng (“Shanghai Express”) and other actors.

The film's premiere date has not yet been announced, but the release should take place in 2017. In the meantime, we offer you to watch the trailer of the upcoming thriller.

The third film in today’s selection has in common with the previous two…. No, not Louis Koo (which is strange, we agree), but a singer and actress Stephy Tan, who starred in the martial arts drama titled "Empty Hands" (The Empty Hands).

As often happens, at the initial stage this film had a different name - "Karate" and we're already talking about it mentioned. The project is directed by a famous comedian from Hong Kong and China. Chapman To.

According to the resource Screen Daily, the film is about a young girl who dreams of selling her father's dojo when he dies. But it soon turns out that 51% of the business is in the hands of his worst student. The girl will have to reconsider her attitude towards martial arts in order to restore and protect the family's cause.

There is still little information about the film's ensemble cast. It was previously known that Stephy Tan Trained for this role by a full contact karate black belt Stephen Au. He will also play one of the roles in “Empty Hands.” In addition, it became known that the legend of combat cinema took part in the film Yasuaki Kurata ("Shanghai Express"). The action movie actress will also play a small role. Juju Chan.

The film is due to be released in 2017, but the exact premiere date has not yet been announced.

It remains to add that from the trailer it seems that we are dealing with an arthouse drama. This is all the more surprising considering that Chapman To is primarily a comedian, and his directorial debut, Let's Eat! (2016) is also a comedy. Well, we'll wait and see.
