Steven Seagal in the TV series Southern Justice

Steven Seagal This year, more than ever, luck may smile. For the first time in the last ten years, the master aikido, along with other screen stars, will appear in the film by Robert Rodriguez "Machete". But what happens after the release? "Machete"? Maybe, “Under Siege 3”? Maybe the long-awaited “Genghis Khan”? Expendables 2 with Stallone? No, none of the above will happen – actually Steven Seagal will release his own television series.

Seagal, who appeared on TV screens in his reality show “Steven Seagal: Lawyer” (Steven Seagal: Lawman) is currently filming a weekly series called “Southern Justice/True Justice” (Southern Justice/True Justice), consisting of 13 episodes.

He plays a role Elijah Kane, the leader of a group of undercover cops who hunt down the bad guys in Seattle.

The series will film from July to December in Vancouver, Canada. All 13 episodes have been purchased and, thanks to the efforts of Voltage, will be shown around the world. The series itself will be an action movie with elements of drama, like crime reports for the week, and the duration of each episode will be one hour.

Such things at one time helped such action stars of the 80s as Chuck Norris (Walker, Texas Ranger) and Don Johnson (Detective Nash Bridges), so it is possible that such a move will help Steven Seagal restore lost popularity.

Seagal is cool at all times and his films show it.

Looking at Seagal’s latest films, one gets the feeling that the Master took out a huge, huge loan and is now “working off” it with a quantity of low-budget slag :)) They say he doesn’t even read the script....))
