Start of fan web series Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope

With the development of technology, special effects, and the Internet, fan creativity is reaching a fundamentally new level. It turns out that, I must say, it has been at this level for quite a long time, but every high-profile project still reaches the viewer with a creak.

About the fan adaptation of the famous manga Akira Toriyama and anime Daisuke Nishio "Dragon Ball" we already wrote и posted trailers future web series. This was in 2014. And in 2015, the project finally started, and the guys posted the filmed first episode of the series online, which they gave the name "Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope" (Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope).

The directors of the project were Donnie McMillin и Rita McMillin.

Starred in the pilot of the web series Anton Bex, Tyler Tackett, Amy Johnston, Jack Wald, Kathleen Brook и Ruthann Thompson.

We invite you to check out this short film.

The second and third episodes of the web series have appeared.

But the guys don’t plan to stop at one episode. On a crowdfunding service IndieGoGo A fundraising campaign has been launched to continue the series. Here is what the creators of “Light of Hope” write:

As we promised, we have filmed the best live-action in the Dragon Ball universe! But we need your help to make more episodes. And we are confident that with more resources, we can do much better! We will continue to stay true to the story and characters, but we want to take the quality of the series to the next level!

Again, without your help, we will not be able to film new episodes. So if you want to see more episodes of Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope, please contribute! Every little bit helps!

Right now we are already working on the second episode, but to take on the third, we need to raise $50,000.

By the way, even citizens of our country can help the guys in the filming of a web series by supporting them with a pretty penny. here. Follow the link to find all the information about the project and be able to become part of such an interesting project.

It remains to add that the first episode of the fan-made web series looks much better and more interesting than the attempts of Hollywood bosses to film the cult anime in the form of a feature film "Dragonball: Evolution" (2009) starring Justin Chatwin and Chow Yun-Fat.

Let's hope Light of Hope continues to come out. And more than once a year.

I love the original series from the 80s. I watched it as a child. So the short film is very similar to the original. The fans are more than completely well done! Looking forward to new episodes!
