John Fu (Jon Foo) was born in London in 1982 into a Chinese-Irish family. He has one younger sister and two older ones. As he grew older, the family moved frequently, staying in and around north-west London, where John began training in martial arts.
When he was 15 years old, he went to work in a Chinese circus, where he performed as a fighter and acrobat. Later, he successfully used his skills in various performances, and then decided to devote his life to cinema.
In 22 of the year John invited to Hong Kong to join the stunt team Jackie Chan, where he got to train and work with some of the best in the action genre, including a world-renowned fight choreographer Yuen Wu Ping.
Later John went to Thailand, where he filmed with Tony Jaa in film "Defender" (Honor of the Dragon | The Protector | Tom Yum Goong) and signed a 3-year contract with the film company “Baa Ram Ewe”.
In 2008 year John invited to Los Angeles to audition for the film "Tekken" (Tekken). So he got his first leading role, playing a character named Jin Kazama.
Recent work John include “Universal Soldier 3: Rebirth” (Universal Soldier 3: Regeneration), “Street Fighter: Legacy” (Street Fighter: Legacy) and “Rebirth” (Rebirth).
Please :)
Thank you, I published it.
I posted a link to the trailer for Rebirth. It was renamed. Released June 13, 2012.
EvilDollaR, will "Rebirth" be released on DVD soon?
We managed to find out that the film is in post-production (which means it was completed after all). This is written on the website of the manufacturer Cineflash Production.
EvilDollaR, by the way, I’ve been wanting to ask for a long time, will Fireball Begins ever happen???
I asked many times in different groups in contact, no one knows...
Let's just say it definitely won't be released anytime soon. Director Thanakorn Pongsuwon is busy working on films Lethal Strike and Bangkok Fable.
Another reason for the delay of Fireball Begins could be the simple lack of investors who were sought at the Berlin Film Festival at the end of last year.
maybe Mortal Kombat after all, and not “Street Fighter: Legacy” and “Rebirth”.
Everything is written correctly here:
Short film “Street Fighter: Legacy”
And “Rebirth” has nothing to do with “Mortal Kombat” and Tancharoen’s short film. This is a stand-alone full-length action film that is/was filmed in Thailand.
Well done guy, I really like him!
One of the few Europeans to be on Jackie Chan's team! Even in the 2008 showreel (available on his website, I recommend watching) there is “Chanov’s” dynamics and battle rhythm! By the way, in “Universal Soldier 3” he fights with Andrei Arlovsky’s hero (I think he is known for his martial arts).
I personally wish him good luck in this field! :)
I read somewhere that he should star in Fireball Begins.
EvilDollaR, thank you very much for the link. Is it possible to get some information about Anis, or is there not enough of it on the net?
I'll see if I can find anything.
good
nimble guy, cool technique, well done
Cool. How can I download the video?
Link to video
Hmm, I didn’t suspect that he was also in the Universal Soldier.
