Fans of Thai action cinema will probably be familiar with the name Dina Alexandrou (Dean Alexandrou). Let's take movies for example. “Tom Yum Goong”, “The King's Servant”, “Brave”, “Underground”, “Hanuman: Warrior of the White Monkey” etc. Of course, supporting roles for the most part will not allow you to fully reveal your potential on the screen, therefore, as in the case of Daniel O'Neill and the film “Bangkok adrenaline”, Dean Alexandrou with his stuntman friends (Ron Smoorenburg, Anton Kalinitchenko, team Jaika Stunts etc.) decided to shoot his own action movie called Shanty Town Show Down (~ Showdown in the city slums). The creators promise an “old school” action movie with a lot of parkour, freerunning, extreme martial arts and crazy stunts. The film will be produced by Martin J. Thomas, as well as companies Goliath Productions и Stunt Power Films. Pre-production is currently underway.

In a post-apocalyptic world, in the ruins of a cityscape so similar to ours, under a sky filled with ash, the last remnants of humanity fight for power. On the outskirts of the city, having found refuge in an abandoned building, street urchin Kane, helping his sick mother, is forced to engage in theft and fraud. One afternoon, after a bungled and bungled theft, Kane comes home with a valuable prototype of an industrial drug, mistakenly believing it to be milk. Soon after, the killers arrive on the trail. Beaten and broken, Kane watches helplessly as his mother is executed and, vowing revenge, flees into the unknown slums of the city. Accepting the help of a beautiful girl Kaya he meets along the way, Kane finds refuge in a makeshift barracks town nestled in the polluted heart of the city. Kaya lives there with her mentally unstable brother Tom, the leader of a small community. They know very well the value of the substance that Kane stole, and more importantly, they know very well the organization that is pursuing him!
