Olivier Gruner and Don “The Dragon” Wilson will enter the ring in November

The second World Martial Arts Championship will be held in Astana at the end of November. "Kazakh tobeles" as part of a show called “Fights without rules with Hollywood stars”. Over a dozen Hollywood stars will arrive as guests of honor.

Under the flag of Kazakhstan they will take part in MMA-fights against titled athletes from Brazil, Hollywood actors and fighters Olivier Gruner и Don "Dragon" Wilson.

“We haven’t entered the ring for several years, since each of us today’s life is more connected with cinema,” - He speaks Oliver Grüner. “But despite this, both Don and I regularly receive invitations to take part in certain battles, and until today our answer has always been the same - “no.” And the fact that we are in Kazakhstan today and are ready to enter the ring again and show what we are capable of is entirely the merit of Erken. Once upon a time we took part in battles to support another type of martial arts, but today we will do everything in our power so that “Kazakh Tobeles” is known throughout the world.”

Journalists asked Olivier Gruner question: “Are you ready to take on younger opponents?”

I am in excellent physical shape because I train every day with the best athletes. I do wrestling, judo, and wrestling. If my return to big-time sports had been announced in Las Vegas, there would have been nowhere for an apple to fall in the hall. But I decided to give the palm to Kazakhstan.

Olivier, you have been called Hollywood's most disciplined actor. Why?

I’m used to following a routine: I don’t drink, I don’t use drugs, I’m not late for the set, and all my workouts are scheduled strictly to the minute. Besides, I am a helicopter pilot, and pilots are disciplined people.

“Dragon”, information has appeared on the Internet about your and Olivier’s participation in the film “The Expendables 2”...

No, it is not true, but perhaps we will be invited to the third part. Now all our efforts are focused on participation in the Kazakhstan championship.

Erken Yalgashev, the show's organizer, said that “Jean-Claude Van Damme was also supposed to come, but he refused due to filming.”

    Dragon Fights is on YouTube.
By the way, Erken Yalgashev is a respected person in the martial arts community; he was the world champion in karate several times. He once brought Mark Dacascos to us in Kazan, where I was able to shake his hand and take a photo with him. ;)

Interesting! Is there anywhere I can see recordings of their real fights?

Not only in sports, but also in cinema :)
Apparently, things are very bad if the dudes went for gas money and went to an unknown Astana to advertise unknown crap, simultaneously receiving money from ordinary athletes.

Comrade “slightly” exaggerated his importance in sports.
