High-quality action films that do not overuse cables have been released very rarely lately. At first we were pleased Tony Jaa, now it’s the turn of those whom he inspired with his tricks Tony. I mean Dina Alexandrou (Dean Alexandrou) and a film with his participation called Shanty Town Show Down.
Judging by the new trailer, the small budget did not affect the quality of the stunts - they are, as always, at their best. This is not surprising, because we are talking about an action comedy film that is being filmed in Thailand. Moreover, the presence of such an excellent “kicker” as the Dutchman Ron Smoorenburg (Who Am I, Puma, Tom Yum Goong, Sanctuary, Eagle Path, White Elephant) can only mean one thing - in the film, in addition to parkour, freerunning and Trix, there will be high-quality fights.
Unfortunately, the release date has not yet been announced.

Not out yet.
Maybe it's lying around somewhere?
Still quiet about this movie?
forgot about the movie?
There is no release date anywhere... Not on any of the offices. manufacturers' websites...
when will it come out?
What a budget, so much humor. ;)
If there was money, they would hire a good screenwriter, director or tutor to improve their acting skills, they would shoot not on cheap “digital”, but on film.
They simply don't have the experience. Remember how the same Jackie Chan acted in his early films, and how he plays now...
Jackie Chan is not that at all. His humor is spot on. I mean this kind of humor, stupid and completely out of place in a real fight. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, of course. Oh yes, I completely forgot about “Killer Football” and “Kung Fu Showdown”, but I don’t like these films either
Somewhat mediocre. I rather didn't like it than the other way around. But...it’ll come out, we’ll see and discuss.
Movies with Jackie Chan, etc.?
This is the first time I’ve come across such a vigorous mixture: comedy and fighting game O_o the attitude is negative
But what about the films of Stephen Chow ("Killer Football" and "Kung Fu Showdown") and others like them? o_O
Who is the director of the fights in this film, do you have any information?
On imdb they write action director and stunt coordinator Dean Alexandrou, so it turns out there is no director as such? Fights with Ron are always interesting; he rarely appears on screen.
The director is most likely Dean himself (directing, editing and financing are also on him). At the office The director of the fight scenes is not listed on the website.
NnNoooo! Anybody is several times inferior to the “Bangkog adrenaline and merentau”...
And parkour: a couple of somersaults are not bad, but the rest, in principle, has already been seen by everyone,
nothing new"
Let's see what they end up with...
All this is great, but the battles still lack “power”. But the most important thing is that a start has been made. :)
