New Future X-Cops trailer

I was interested in the provocative title of one of Todd Brown's news stories. We were talking about the new trailer for the science fiction film “Future X-Cops”. And here, in fact, is the title of the publication: “The new trailer has dotted all the i’s.” Wong Jing's Future X-Cops could be the greatest movie ever made."

One of the categories in which the news was published was the martial arts category, but other than a few famous actors, I did not notice anything like that. The trailer reminded me more of a mixture of ideas from other films, for example, the style and 3D effects of “Spy Kids”, the spinning bullet from “Wanted”, etc. Judging by the trailer, the film looks more like a children's fantasy comedy than a serious one martial arts action movie. But if we take into account the description, which contains a fair amount of humor, then the title can well be regarded as ironic.

It has killer robots, snake robots, robotic robots, flying cars, and Andy Lau with a brooding face. This is Wong Jing's Future X-Cops. And it has a new trailer.

Damn, I saw a lot of well-known faces who had previously made normal films. It looks like a film adaptation of a children's manga about robots. I was glad that there will be robot snakes and robot robots)))

I wouldn't mind taking a look at these robotic robots either :)

Thank you Ilya, it would be great if EvilDollaR translated a short paragraph from Wikipedia about the art of wire-fu (to the section “one by one” for example) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wire_fu

If we talk only about the dynamics, I liked “Kung Fu Cyborg” much more.

, there is an order of magnitude less wire-fu in it, almost none at all, but there is much more drive and innovative dynamics. In some places, even transformers are inferior.

    Wire-fu will be there.

Typical, as I understand it, Korean? The saga in a new way. Previously, instead of “androids,” hermit monks or wars of militant sects would fly. The images of “androids” are closer to the modern generation; monks in long robes or big hats are now not respected =)
Honestly, I don’t like rope kung fu =(

    PS
How do you say "rope kung fu" in English?
