Some news about Chinese releases

On Sunday, August 1st, the premiere of the action film took place in the Chinese capital Beijing, simultaneously with a press conference. “City under siege” (City Under Siege) with Jackie Wu, Aaron Kwok, Shu Qi и Colin Chow starring. The film will be shown in Chinese cinemas from August 6th.

Mei Ah Entertainment has announced the release of a Hong Kong action comedy DVD “Kung Fu Hip Hop 2” from director Bowie Lau and fight choreographer Ma Yuk Sing. Starring: Michael Tse и Chen Bolin. The release should take place on August 5, 2010. You can pre-order at yesasia.com.

Kaleidoscope Entertainment has announced that the film will be released on DVD in the UK on 9th August 2010. “Jackie Chan & The Kung Fu Kid”. At first glance it may seem that this is the Chinese version of the name "The Karate Kid", but that's not true. The original title of the film is “Finding Jackie” (Looking for Jackie) and it was released in 2009. Don't let this confuse you.

    That's right, I'm of the same opinion...
    As a child I loved all these ropes and flying....
    But now I want real fights and real opportunities from martial arts.

    I watched this final trailer... the desire to watch it completely disappeared (reminded me of the second Black Mask... the same nonsense). Well, why, if a person has superpowers, then you need to add cheap graphics and a bunch of ropes. Well, look at Drive.... there the person also has superpowers, but there are almost no ropes, and the fights in the end are beyond praise.

    I watched Finding Jackie. Keno is terrible, Jackie appears in the last 10 minutes, and then mentors the main character. It's not worth downloading. By the way, the budget is very minimalist. Jackie probably showed up there because he owed money to someone.
