Mini-news: Man Of Tai Chi, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TV series)

In film Keanu Reeves "Man Of Tai Chi", which is currently filming in Hong Kong, will use a relatively new conceptual approach to filming action scenes - the human operator in some scenes will be replaced by a robotic camera motion control system (Bot & Dolly's Iris).

This is good news, since the shaky close-ups in action films of this kind are quite boring.

There are rumors that Iko Yuwais will star in “Man Of Tai Chi” and fight Tiger Chen.

With such a camera, everything is exactly the same as now with a manual one - if the director and cameraman are masters, then with such a tool they will make a piece of candy, but if they are crooked, then even with such high-tech you will get a twitchy close-up camera. So let's see what they come up with.....

Yes, it wouldn't hurt to move the camera a little. But this is like a promotional video, so it’s forgivable.

    The camera is amazing

It seems good, but the video clearly overuses close-ups.

Finally! I've been waiting for this approach to filming for 10 years now... it's long, long overdue!

Well, if guano is filmed with such technology and with such a director, then the saying about a bad dancer who is hindered by something will be justified. ;)
