Mei Ah Entertainment has acquired the rights to The Grand Master

Company Mei Ah Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights to Wong Kar Wai's upcoming film "Great master" (The Grand Master). Owns distribution rights in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia “Hong Kong film and TV group”. The rights for Hong Kong are controlled by a Hong Kong-Chinese investment company "Sil-Metropole", which will be responsible for the theatrical release. Mei Ah Entertainment, which recently launched a new TV service called “Red,” will handle the Hong Kong video and TV release.

The highly anticipated film does not yet have an international sales agent, but the production company Jet Tone Films has been negotiating with several potential sales representatives for many months. Jet Tone Films managed to achieve a 10 million budget largely from Hong Kong and Chinese sources, with no guarantee of income from global sales.

"The Grand Master", which provides another look into the life of Ip Man, the greatest master to teach the style of Wing Chun. Bruce Lee, is scheduled to hit theaters around 2011, around Chinese New Year (January-February).

Not long ago, movie posters appeared and quickly spread online, but Jet Tone Films they said their designs were not approved and they did not know the origin of the posters.
