Michael Leader and K Tigers teamed up for a joint web project

One of the editors of a resource about combat cinema Impact, actor and producer Mike Leader teams up with South Korean stunt team The K Tigers (Korean Tigers Taekwondo Demonstration Team) for a joint project "Ares".

"Ares" will be a web series that can be described in genre as a sci-fi action movie about a global conspiracy. The main character of the series will have to survive, fighting against assorted mercenaries in order to convey the harsh truth to society.

The project will be directed by one of the K Tigers team members – Woonsa, and the main role will go to the talented athlete, actor and singer - About Hyun-kyun. They will also take part in the series Go Wuri ("Rainbow"), Choi Sung-guk ("Playful Kiss"), Chang-won Seo ("Come Closer") and MMA fighter Yook Jin-soo.

Team Korean Tigers Taekwondo Demonstration Team (The K Tigers) formed in 1990 and has since been the leading taekwondo stage team in South Korea. In addition, the team has participated in various martial arts conventions in the United States, Europe and Asia. Some of the team members also have experience in filming: taemin constantly starred in TV series, and Taejoo starred in one of the main roles of the film "Heel to the eye" director Prachya Pinkayu, as well as in a Hollywood blockbuster "Pan: Journey to Neverland" с Hugh Jackman starring.

Mike Leader has the most direct relation to cinema and film production. In over 30 years of activity, Mike has been an actor, producer, casting director, stuntman, screenwriter and manager. From small “gwailo” roles in Hong Kong films (“Once Upon a Time in China”, “City Hungter”, “Fearless” and others), Mike moved on to supporting roles in films from different countries: American "Pound of Flesh", Vietnamese "Tracer", Chinese "Helios" and many others. In 2016, Mike Leader can be seen in an action movie Ultimate Justice the company Mark Dacascos, Matthias Hughes и Mike Moeller. In addition, Leader is the screenwriter of the upcoming film.
