American producer and director Stefan Czapowski, known primarily for his resemblance to a young Sylvester Stallone, shot something between a short film and a promotional trailer for what could become a full-fledged independent project in the future.
We are talking about a 7-minute video called "Gene War" (War Gene), in which Stephen conveyed the spirit of sci-fi action films of the 80s. Actually, the short film is a cross between "Rambo" и "Predator".
It is noteworthy that Czapowski personally met with Sly and proposed a similar idea, but the original Rambo was not very interested. And also above "War of genes" Several visual effects artists and a composer from St. Petersburg worked.
Stephen, of course, played the main role, and he was accompanied by: Ira Grossman (TV series "House of Cards") John Yoo ("Lovecraft Country") Xavier Lu (“The Laughing Mask”) and others.

According to the plot of the short film, he is running from mercenaries who must not allow Snake Eyes to uncover a government conspiracy.
The main role was played by an Argentine martial arts practitioner Juan Manuel Olmedo, with whom Perez had already worked on the film "Cabal".
Well, while we wait Hollywood version "Snake Aes", you can also watch a 17-minute short film about this hero, shot, as they say, also in a retro version.

One Punch is an anime as it is.
You can watch Snake Eyes.
You don’t have to open the Gena War; without Cheburashka it’s still not interesting. But seriously, there’s nothing like that, a teaser concept, nothing to see. They'll film a full-fledged project, then... And then I'm unlikely to watch it.
