Trailers for independent films Lock and Load, The Great Escape and Legend of the White Dragon

Somehow we missed an independent British action comedy with a curious title "Holiday Monday" (2020) from writer and director Nathan Shepka.

The film was about two bodyguards, Nick and Derek, who find themselves on the run from a drug cartel.

In the new part, which is called "Recharge" (Lock and Load) Private security officers Nick and Derek investigate the disappearance of their friend, Agent Stokes, after a covert operation to capture international arms dealer Miles Steiger goes wrong. Drawn into a labyrinth of deadly deals, the two mercenaries will have to shoot and fight until the end of a bloody weekend on Monday.

The second in today's selection is an independent hand-to-hand action movie called "The Great Escape" (The Great Escape).

The film is directed and local action choreographed by a Malayali martial artist, stuntman and actor Sandeep J.L., who could be seen in the combat crowd, for example, in "Collectors 2" (2020). This is his third directorial film shot entirely in Texas with English-speaking actors.

Synopsis: a family from South India moves to America, where they hide in a small Texas town, because the head of this family is a government killer. Years later, the secret is revealed and his father's son must protect his family from a local gang selling weapons.

The film featured: Indian-American martial artist and actor Babu Anthony (dulogy “Son of Kaveri”), his sons Arthur Anthony ("Gold Rush") and Alex Anthony, as well as an expert in martial arts Robert D. Parham ("One in a Thousand"), professional wrestling veteran Chaz Taylor (TV series “Children of Thunder”), Muay Thai master, stuntman and actor Simon Cook (“Ip Man 3”), who was involved in the fight choreography in the action film, himself Sandeep J.L. and others.

The film was shown at the Independent Action Film Festival in Texas February 6, but the creators promise an official release before the end of 2023.


A new trailer has appeared for our highly anticipated film - the tokusatsu action movie "The Legend of the White Dragon".

Let us remind you that the film began to be shot back in 2019, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the project to be postponed until better times. The film was supposed to appear last year, but misfortune happened: died The main actor of the project is a martial artist Jason David Frack, which is why the director of the film Aaron Schoenke I decided to reshape the material somewhat, using footage that was not included in the final version.

Synopsis: Erica Rida is a warrior who once possessed cosmic powers thanks to a mysterious crystal. But he lost both his abilities and his zest for life after losing a colossal battle against the ancient ruler Ashtagora. But nevertheless, he returns to his hometown three years later, persecuted by the media and former comrades. He hides from people and the law, but he is found by someone named Dragon Prime, who wants to gain the power of the crystal. Eric will have to become the superhero White Dragon again to defeat evil.

An action movie is scheduled for a limited screening at the film festival. 4 September 2023 years, but the mass audience should see "The Legend of the White Dragon" in 2024 year.
