Filming a new action movie Sammo Hungga "The Old Bodyguard" (Former Bodyguard/Old Soldier) started about two months ago in a Chinese city Suifenhe, will soon be transferred to Primorye. According to the Film Commission Vladivostok a number of episodes will be filmed from September 20 to 25 in the historical center of the city, as well as in Ussuriysk and the Border region of the region.
According to correspondents ITAR-TASS in the Department of Culture of the Primorsky Territory Administration Jackie Chan will be replaced by a Hong Kong actor Andy Lau:
“Initially, Jackie Chan was supposed to play the main role in the film. However, his own project, which is currently filming in China, did not allow the actor to take part in the film Sammo Hungg Kam-Bo."
This is the story of a “retired” bodyguard who finds himself at the center of a jewelry theft investigation and helps Chinese and Russian intelligence agencies in searching for the stolen goods.
Film released worldwide "The Old Bodyguard" will be released in August 2015.
