The further fate of "John Wick" in cinema and on TV

Chad Stahelski, co-director of the first part "John Wick" and the full-fledged director of the second part said that in the third and final part of the film there will be a story about the principles of work of the “Board of Clans”. The film will also focus on the backstory of John's character and the future of the invincible killer.  Work on the script "John Wick 3" The author of the plot of the first two films will again be Derek Kolstad. The creators have not disclosed whether Chad Stahelski will remain as director or limit himself to producing duties. But in any case, Stahelski will not be left without work; in the near future he will have to reboot a truly immortal franchise "Highlander".

The further fate of "John Wick" in cinema and on TV

If the third part "John Wick" is announced by the creators as the final one, this does not mean that the character will be buried, and we will no longer see the Wick universe. Screenwriter Derek Kolstad and director Chad Stahelski are planning a TV spin-off called “Hotel Continental.”  The series will tell about the world of hired killers that exists within luxurious walls "Continental" about the fate and development of those who find themselves in this world. Myself John Wick may appear in the series in a minor role, but will not be the main character.

Fortunately, the film turned out to be an excellent post-gun fight movie, moderately fabulous, not devoid of common sense, standing out from the general gray mass of similar Hollywood films with a kind of mythologization of the criminal world (and not people bitten by a radioactive flea), with a simple and understandable plot, and excellent ( with invention, with memorable scenes, with drive, with juicy shots) action, plus another cameo from the matrix (Shiro, we noticed you in the first part). If the same director shoots it, it won’t be at all strange if the film turns out quite good this time too. I’ll wait, but in the meantime, Lizka Teronova, the main character of the film “Crazy Furiosa: The Road of Feminists with Botox Lips,” performs in the same role in the circus arena. Let's see :)

Unfortunately, the second film turned out to be nonsense, a fairy tale, devoid of common sense, a normal plot, with monotonous action, and it was shot by the same director of the first part? Very strange.

I think many will agree that the second John Wick is much inferior to the first part.

I really like the first part, even though there wasn’t much realism there, but in this part the plot is very very crazy, even too much, fantasy should have been added to the genres, Wick gets into the head of the enemy and he wants to get up and continue, homeless killers, musician killer and much more, today I watched Security with Banderas, despite its shortcomings the film is not bad and is certainly better than Wick 2, there was not as much nonsense as in Wick 2, it didn’t sag and was watched with interest.

Dave, also watched “Security”. The film is a variation on the theme of the first Die Hard. And quite a good variation, although, of course, not a masterpiece. You just have to understand that this is not a hand-to-hand action movie, even if there are a couple of short fights, in one of which Cung Le beat Banderos.
