The action movie Mortal Kombat 3 became the cause of a lawsuit

Threshold Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. for breach of contract related to the production of the action movie Mortal Kombat 3. This happened a week after the appearance rumors that Warner Bros. hired Oren Yuziel to write the script for the film.

It all happened on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Threshold claimed that Warner Bros. suspended them from production and avoided fulfilling the terms of the contract.

It all started back in 2006, when Threshold Entertainment signed a contract to create the third part of Mortal Kombat with game developer Midway. But in February 2009, Midway went bankrupt and its ownership went to Warner Bros.

According to Threshold's complaint, the court should uphold their interests regardless of the sale of Midway to Warner.

The extent of the damages is currently being determined, but it is likely that Threshold Entertainment will seek reimbursement of all funds invested in the production of the film since 2006.

Damn, we're waiting for the movie, but they're still suing.
