Production company Roundhousefilm GmbH completed work on a teaser for a new project called "Land of Giants" (Land of the Titans).
Brief description from the authors:
Land of Giants combines post-apocalyptic science fiction, western and martial arts.
When a storm turned our world into ruins, the Titans came to us to punish anyone who dared to use the magic called electricity.
Once upon a time, the main character nicknamed "Crutch" (Mathis Landwehr) angered the Titans. His shattered knee keeps him from forgetting the day they took everything from him.
So he decides to hunt them down and destroy them.
This is an amazing story about a lone hero who received a nickname because of his crutch and caused the wrath of the Gods.We join him on his journey through a barren and endangered world where water and food are as hard to find as trust and love. In a world in which people live in constant fear of the Gods and forbidden magic from past times - electricity. After all, the light of even one light bulb is enough to attract the attention of the Gods, who appear in the form of huge Titans and devastate entire settlements.
Despite the fact that “Crutch” witnessed the destructive power of the Titans in his youth, he does not believe in fairy tales about the immortality of the Gods. Titans are mortal. As we are. And there is one reason why they are here and force us to live according to their laws...
Now the creators have moved on to the second stage of production: they want to turn the project into either a television series or a feature film.

Interesting fact: This teaser turned out to be so long due to the fact that on the German website startnext.de (analogous to Kickstarter) the company managed to collect a sum of money that was twice the planned mark of 7 euros.

Budget - 8 million euros
The project will be turned into either a 100-minute feature film or a television series of 9 episodes of 45 minutes each. The right to choose will go to the company that purchased the license.
Should be released in early 2015.
