Trailers for sports dramas "Blow", "Giant George Foreman" and "The Opponent"

New boxing drama called "Hit" (Punch) is a personal project of the director and screenwriter Welby Ings (“In Brief About the Boys 4”), and, alas, exploits LGBT themes, which will most likely turn many viewers away from the film. But don't mention "Blow" we can’t, especially since in the genre of sports combat drama there was already a film on a similar topic - "Swipe".

Synopsis: Jim is a promising teenage boxer training under the watchful eye of his demanding, alcoholic father. When Jim begins a relationship with a classmate, they both must overcome the isolation, homophobia and brutality of small-town life as Jim prepares for the biggest fight of his life.

Played the main role in the drama Jordan Oosterhoff (TV series “Dead End”), the hero’s father was played by a famous British actor Tim Roth ("Reservoir Dogs", "Rob Roy", "To Kill a King"). The rest of the caste includes: Conan Hayes (TV series "Savages") Karl Willetz (TV series “The Almighty Johnsons”) and others.

"Hit" has already been to film festivals, collecting positive reviews and is preparing for a limited release March 10 and on Blu-ray April 11 2023 years.

The next boxing drama focuses on the legendary American professional heavyweight boxer George Foreman, whose career dawned in the 70s of the last century.

In the director's chair of a drama called "Giant George Foreman" (Big George Foreman) is located George Tillman Jr., famous for the Oscar-winning film "Military Diver" (2000), as well as an action movie "Faster than bullet" (2010) starring Dwayne Johnson.

The biopic chronicles the highlights of Foreman's boxing career, including winning Olympic gold at the 1968 Mexico City Games and becoming world heavyweight champion. Beyond his boxing career, the narrative chronicles Foreman's journey to faith, retirement and becoming a preacher, and his return to the ring at age 45 when the boxer's family and church faced financial difficulties.

Played the main role in the film Chris Davis (TV series “Atlanta”, “The Blacklist”, “Remember Everything”), and his coach was played by a famous American actor Forest Whitaker (“Platoon”, “Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai”, Phone Booth”). "Giant George Foreman" will be released worldwide April 28 2023 years.

The director and screenwriter of the film was Milad Alami (“Northern Factory”, “The Seducer”).

Synopsis: Iman is an Iranian living with his family in Sweden in constantly changing refugee hostels. To increase his chances of obtaining residency for himself and his family, he resumes his wrestling career and confronts why he had to flee his homeland.

Played the main role in the drama Peyman Moaadi, known from the series "World of the Wild West" (2016-2022) and films "Pig" (2018) "The Phantom Six" (2019) and "Night Convoy" (2020)

"Opponent" is currently going around film festivals, collecting positive reviews. It is still unknown when the film will be released to the general public. But you can check out the trailer.
