“The Punisher,” as expected, turned out to be more about the struggle for everything good against everything bad in the style of auteur cinema. This in itself is great, but the action is deliberately kept to a minimum.
The second season of Cobra Kai was overall satisfying, although the action scenes of the second season were becoming less and less realistic.
“The Punisher” (after all, the original A Vigilante sounds better) looks interesting, although it is not yet clear from the trailer whether Olivia Wilde will play more drama or demonstrate something in the spirit of Krav Maga (throat blow from the trailer).
Besson's action movie is always interesting based on the trailer, but the result is always unpredictable))
In general, Charlize Theron, with her role in Atomic Blonde, set a very high bar for ordinary actresses who wanted to shine in a combat role. And if Olivia Wilde feels like she has worked on herself (general plasticity and well-drawn muscles), then Sasha Luss “Anna” does not make much of an impression yet.
Well, with Cobra Kai everything is simple and joyful: the first season is really good - action, psychological background, social problems, and an abyss of wit. And all this in a fairly modest (compared to modern TV series) timing. So I’ll watch the second one too.
