The first film was released in 2019 and earned a very cool box office by the standards of Japanese cinema, so the question of the second part, one might say, was resolved almost immediately. The sequel was directed again by a talented director Shinsuke Sato (Library Wars franchise).
The plot of the film will continue the story of the orphan Xin, who with his friends finds himself in the heart of a raging war between several kingdoms in the setting of China of the 3rd century BC.
The actors returned to their roles Kento Yamazaki ("Mad Samurai Musashi") Ryo Yoshizawa ("Tokyo Avengers") Kanna Hashimoto (“Lupin's Daughter. The Movie”) and Masaya Kato ("Drive").
