"Gintama 2", which was distributed by the company Silver Soul arc., was directed again Yuichi Fukuda (the “Perverted Mask” duology), who also directed the first film.

The second film continues the story of the main characters of the first part, Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura, who, in free idleness, are faced with the problem of lack of money. Then they decide to get a part-time job. At the same time, a split is brewing in the ranks of the Shinsengumi, and the internal conflict comes out.

The main role is still played by a Japanese film star Shun Oguri (“Nabunaga Concert”, “Museum”), and the rest of the cast includes the following actors: Masaki Suda ("Death Note: Light Up a New World"), Kanna Hashimoto ("Assassination Classroom: Graduation") Masami Nagasawa ("Bleach"), Masaki Okada (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”) and others.

The film was released in Japan 17 August 2018 year. And while fans of the first film and the entire franchise as a whole are waiting for the film to be available for viewing, we suggest watching the trailer for this hooligan action-comedy.

From the land of the rising sun we move on to the cinema of South Korea, which again delights us with a historical epic called "The Great Battle" (The Great Battle).

The director of the film is Kim Gwang-sik, who has a comedy background "My Favorite Gangster" (2010) and thriller "Tabloid: Dangerous Rumors" (2014)

The events of the film will unfold in 645 AD during the reign of the Tang dynasty, whose emperor decided to conquer Goguryeo, one of the early Korean states. After successful military operations, the army of Emperor Li Shimin stood at the Ansi fortress, which was defended by the brave general Yang Man-chun. Actually, the film is dedicated to the siege of this castle.

The main roles went to the actors Cho In-seo ("King") and Park Sung-woon (“The Spy Went North”), and they are accompanied by: Nam Joo-hyuk (TV series “Bride of the Water God 2017”), Bae Sun-woo (“Fraudsters”) and other actors.

The film will premiere in South Korea 19 September 2018 years. Looks like a distribution company Well Go USA became interested in the rights to the film for showing it in North America. Well, for now we can only see the trailer.

We want to finish today’s selection with a film from India. We're talking about an action comedy. "The Man Who Doesn't Feel Pain" (The Man Who Feels No Pain).

At the director's helm of the project is Vasan Bala, who is best known as a screenwriter ("Bombay Velvet", "Raman Raghav 2.0"), but who also has experience as a director - thriller "Drug dealers" (2012)

The film tells the story of a young boy who was born with an interesting defect - he does not feel pain. Growing up, the guy realizes that he can become a real superhero, and begins to train hard. Ultimately, the main character sets himself a seemingly impossible task: to defeat a hundred enemies.

The main role in the film was played by a debutant Abhamanyu Dasani, and his on-screen duet will be a beauty Radhika Madan, for which this project will also be the first big film.

What’s interesting is that in the camp of action specialists there are well-known names from the stunt team The Stunt People - Eric Jacobas и Dennis Ruel. True, it is not entirely clear from open sources what exactly the Americans were responsible for. But in any case, their influence should benefit the upcoming comedy.

"The Man Who Feels No Pain" will be screened at an action film festival TIFF in Toronto, which will take place from September 6 to 16, 2018. But when the film will be released is still unknown. This probably won't happen until next year. Well... Let's keep our fingers crossed and watch the funny teaser trailer.

The Japanese film looks like trash like “Machine Gun Girls”, which is riveted in hundreds in Japan. Korean cinema over the last ten years has long been a guarantee of quality. Indians, the video is funny, but anything can happen.

The Korean film was very interesting. Usually their historical films are very good. The Indian tailer took a look and suddenly thought... This is not the first time this move with the absence of pain is used in action films. But the absence of pain in itself does not provide any combat advantages! Pain is just a signaling system about problems in the body. Its absence does not save you from fractures, damage to internal organs and their failure, or from a concussion (respectively, knockout). So what's the trick? You were walking, didn’t feel how you cut yourself and... died from blood loss??? Great prospect! :)) Good fighters know how to cope with pain when required, but they do it consciously, understanding the dangers of it. These are the thoughts... :)

      Alexander,

Agree. By the way, this theme was well developed in the “Kick-Ass” duology.
