Director Gareth Evans published an Indonesian extended version of the film trailer on his blog "The Raid" (Serbuan Maut), which was shown at the film festival INAFFF (Indonesia International Fantastic Film Festival 2011).
The music was written Fakhar Yuskemal и Aria Prajoji. The latter was also involved in creating the soundtrack for “Merantau”.
The director promised to answer questions soon, most of which are related to the delay in the Indonesian release.
Deadline reports that Sony Pictures Classics will release the film in the territories where it purchased the rights in the spring of 2012.
In Indonesia, the premiere should take place after January 2012. The director is still silent about the release on DVD.
2 special screenings will be held in Jakarta on December 16th as part of the JogjaAsianFilmFest.
I don’t care about the music and sounds - what a magnificent sight! I really can't wait for this movie! Does anyone know when to expect it?)
Thank you.
First of all, I thought that this version of the trailer would be released a month before the release in Indonesia.
Secondly, I thought the trailer would finally have sounds instead of just music.
Thirdly, the original music, at least in the trailer, is not much better than the American one. versions. I hope that in the original version of the film, the music will be much better than in the trailer, well, Amer. Let's see the version too.
Fourthly, in general the trailer is, of course, better than the American one. versions.
Yes, I also hoped to hear sounds.
