The program “How Bruce Lee Changed the World” is released on DVD

IMC Vision has announced that the UK release of the two-hour documentary program entitled “How Bruce Lee Changed the World” (How Bruce Lee Changed The World) will take place on October 25, 2010.

Plot:

Bruce Lee, a martial arts legend and screen idol, starred in only four films before his tragic death in 1973, but was nevertheless a true “star” of cinema. For more than 35 years, Lee's legacy has changed the way action and martial arts films are made. By developing his own fighting techniques and philosophy, he revolutionized traditional martial arts and contributed to their worldwide recognition. This program will explore the life of Bruce Lee, from his days fighting on the gangster-filled streets of Hong Kong, to his dominance of the world of fight cinema, and the impact he had on the world after his death.

Viewers will see interviews with celebrities, filmmakers, friends and family: Jackie Chan, John Woo, Raymond Chow, John Saxton, Donnie Yen, LL Cool J, Brett Ratner, Stan Lee and, of course, his wife Linda and daughter Shannon. Thus, they will have a rare opportunity to learn more about the most important martial artist of all time. How Bruce Lee Changed the World features a large selection of some of Lee's most memorable fight scenes from Enter the Dragon, Fist of Fury and The Big Boss, as well as clips from The Green Hornet. It also includes rare recordings of impressive demonstrations of his skills, such as the one-inch punch and two-finger push-up.

Bonus materials:

- additional interviews with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, George Dillman, Ricky Hatton and Diana Lee Inosanto.
