Michelle Yeoh to appear in Marco Polo

Famous Chinese actress Michelle Yeoh declared a member of the cast of the second season of the popular historical series "Marco Polo" And it’s not surprising, because thanks to the channel’s capacity Netflix, on which the series is broadcast, we can expect the imminent release of the film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2» Yuen Woo-Ping. Moreover, the showrunner and writer of “Marco Polo” John Fusco wrote the script for the new “Tiger”, which means the projects are more than connected.

Michel will appear in several episodes in the role of a certain maid. Nothing more is known about the role, or whether Michelle Yeoh will have action scenes.

In the meantime, fans of the series are waiting for the second season, starting in early 2016, John Fusco has prepared a special hour-long episode about one of the most interesting characters in the series - Sensei Marco Polo, a blind master named Hungdred Eyes. In the television film, as in the series, this role will be played by the charismatic Tom Wu.

The film will be shown on Netflix on December 26.

      Unlike Seagal, Wu can do drama - he even acted in the theater. Therefore, in my opinion, he deserves a little more than the supporting roles of dumb Asian killers.
