The plot and trailer of the film High Kickers

Zhao Yu Min, the founder of the Taekwondo school, is depressed by the death of his beloved student Han Xu Feng, who was killed in underground battles. His school begins to gradually fade away and loses most of its students. One day, a girl named Lin Lin comes to school and asks to train her to participate in the national taekwondo championship. Her persistence and sincerity convince the master.

Upon arrival at the taekwondo tournament, Zhao's only student is seriously injured in a fight with the reigning champion Gao Zhi. Meanwhile, Ling Ling signed up for the men's competition using the name Han Xu Feng. It turns out that she is Han's younger sister, and her decision came as a complete surprise to Zhao.

However, in the face of a strong opponent, Ling Ling's chances of winning the championship look very weak.

Shanti Town Shanti Down, after almost a year of inactivity, they will start filming again.

is it a precise information? Are you still waiting for the film or can you no longer hope that it will come out... And by the way, what about Rebirth with John Foo. I saw the trailer back in 2010) and that was it... Is it being filmed right now or what?

January 2012, pre-orders can already be placed on German websites. As for Shanti Town, I don’t know who has what, but the budget - they work without a budget according to the trailer ;)
High Kickers is not bad, but it’s not clear when it will be released, there’s not even such a film on imdb.

2009? perhaps only at festivals, the release in cinemas was in 2010, but it still took a long time, and is no longer relevant.

Mandrill will be on Blu-ray in January.
By the way, about teams and individual on-screen fighters. Movie-Do never made their Illegali Shize. There isn't even a trailer. But Mike Mueller with Straight Blast is quite “alive”, only now the project is called “Urban Fighter”, they recently posted a teaser on YouTube. Shanti Town Shanti Down, after almost a year of inactivity, they will start filming again. But I don’t know the individual on-screen fighters in the states, or the teams either, well, except for those that were on the site in the news.

In January of what year? ;) After such a long time I can’t even believe it, I hope it will be so.

As for Shanti Tone Show Down, it’s a different story - some of the creators clearly have delusions of grandeur... So they definitely won’t be given money.

I think it’s not worth listing Adkins’ projects; many were interested in them.

Regarding White, I can name “The Moor”, “Blood and Bone 2”, and a few more unnamed ones that he mentioned in an interview, but never found the money.

All kinds of teams and individual on-screen fighters also have plenty of such projects. In RuNet, few people know about them, but in the states, etc. there are enough fans. But I simply don’t have enough time or nerves to look for their names in the texts of several thousand source files of previous news...

Yes, what can I say, the same creators of "Mandrill" (IMHO) do not have enough money to press the discs.

This is, as it were, the main reason that many promising (and many expected) projects were never given the green light.

    How for example?

    Author's gravatar

I wonder what kind of guano they will remove this time? And then people will buy the film in advance, but the project will be closed, and then what?

And then people will buy the film in advance, but the project will be closed, and then what?

At film markets, producers are just looking for investors, so after the purchase the project is unlikely to be closed/frozen. A similar situation can happen when there are no such ones. This is, as it were, the main reason that many promising (and many expected) projects were never given the green light.

PS Sorry for the tautautotautology. ;)

Have you heard anything about Tekken: Blood Vengeance? Looks like it should have been released back in August...
Regarding the film, I can hardly imagine Kazuya as the main character of the second part. Oops... I caught myself thinking that I don’t remember how the first one ended. This is what it means to have a mediocre film, that nothing even sticks in your head.

Tekken: Blood Vengeance will be released in America on Blu-ray on November 22nd.

I don’t even know whether to be happy about this or not. I really love Tekken video games (I remember when I was little, I lost myself in Sonya and played Tekken 3, which was still new at that time), but I was disappointed with the film. Disappointed with Cyril's work... Well, what a Tekken fan he is. John Foo, in principle, coped with his role (but almost all the stunts were done for him by a stuntman, although I don’t know, John seems to be a good stuntman himself). And when I first saw Latif Crowder (and it was in TYG), I thought that if they made a film based on Tekken, then they would take him for the role of Eddie... but even then, a five-minute appearance in the film, unimportant choreography (thanks to Cyril, the fight with Scott in Undisputed 3 was staged much better)... but he did what was required of him... Well, Gary Daniels was a little pleasing (although I think Scott Adkins would have been better suited for the role of Brian)... In the end, for me there was everything in the film three positives - John Foo, Latif and Garry Daniels...

Let me explain: at the AFM film market they sell films that WILL BE MADE in the near future, mainly to find producers. Therefore, such posters should be regarded as preliminary (this happened in other markets with TUG 2, The Kick, etc.).

How could he swing when the basis of the poster is a frame from the FIRST part? =)

    Photoshop drives.

PS I completely trust the resource with the previous poster.

Idk, maybe I fell from an oak tree, but it seems to me that Tekken 2 will be a cool movie...
Judging by the poster, by the second part, John Foo had shaken up quite a bit.

I also have big doubts about the poster, pure Fensky, and it’s too early to judge by one poster, making a poster is the simplest thing. As for the film, it’s unlikely that they’ll make anything worthy, the main thing is that Rafaeli with his With “circus clown” habits they were not allowed to stage fights. The stuntman is good, the director is zero, to put it mildly!

Is the info verified? Isn't the poster a fanmade one?

The figure (which belongs to John Foo) on the poster + number 2 means that this is the second part of the failed (both in terms of box office and criticism) Tekken. Interesting =)

What other Tekken 2??? The bastards have completely lost their shame.
