"Circle of Pain" Trailer and review

Trademark "Tapout", famous in the world MMA, has taken a step forward compared to recent films with Hector Echevarria and in a new full-length film with a familiar theme about the return of a former fighter to the ring, she replaced him with a former world karate champion - actor Tony Sciena.

Chiena plays the role of Dalton Hungt, a former fighter from the Texas Revolution Club (abbr. RFC). Accidentally crippling his best friend Wyatt during sparring (Dean Kane) and having resigned after that, Dalton still feels guilty. However, when RFC owner Victoria Ruolan (Bei Ling) informs Dalton that, according to the terms of the contract, he is obliged to fight one more fight, Dalton learns that his opponent is the current RFC champion Colin “Brick” Wahl (Heath Hering).

With the help of Wyatt and former coach Willie (Louis Hertham) Dalton must prepare for the upcoming battle within two months, not only physically, but spiritually. However, as he trains, he realizes a frightening reality - he is held back by guilt. With Willie's help, Dalton overcomes this challenge and continues to train hard. Meanwhile, Victoria, who regards her company only as a “gold mine,” has other plans for him - she secretly planned to ensure Dalton a crushing defeat during the fight with “Brick” Val.

Producer: Daniel Zirilli.

This time the fights were choreographed by an experienced stuntman and fighter Arnold Chon. FROM MMA on the screen Chon did well, pleasing the audience with partial use of slow-motion and long takes. Unlike previous films with MMA, there are almost no extreme close-ups and “epileptic” cuts. In some places there were moments when the episode was repeated from two or three angles. Chon knows exactly how to show on the screen MMA and does it efficiently.

In the end, “Circle of Pain” this is a significant improvement over previous films from "Tapout". With such a good leading man as Tony Sciena, and a powerful fight choreographer who knows what he's doing based on his personal fighting experience, the film represents one of the best MMA drams, and don’t be fooled by the simple cover DVD. Considering the genre, this action movie looks great.

But still, this film is definitely better than the films with Hector Echavarria.
And less drawn out than the recently released film Resistance (Beatdown).

I looked. Weak movie. Another confirmation that films with real fighters in the role of actors in most cases turn out unsuccessful...

Hmm, I don’t think you can expect a cool movie from such rockers. There was already a similar one and it was unsuccessful.
We'll see where we go anyway)

EvilDollaR, the fight with the Thai, according to rumors, has already been postponed to March. Now he still can’t sort out his love affairs, he has no time for some Thai guy right now =)

I also heard that “Eagle Path” will be released almost at the same time as the fight with the Thai.

Looks like the best MMA movie is "Never back down"

Moreover, there is also Kimbo Slice in a small episode, it’s cool...

Azureus0102, as a fan of Jean and a person who follows news about him, I can say that a miracle must happen for us to see him before the fall. There are rumors that a European DVD release is planned for September/October.

Off topic of course, but what about the release of the film ''The Eagle's Way'' on DVD? Maybe you know if he will appear before the end of summer? Thank you in advance.)
