Restless Steven Seagal can compete with Jackie Chan for the title of the most active action star of our time. He opens aikido schools, records albums, gives concerts with his musical group around the world and... acts in films.
In addition to the eight announced projects for 2016-2017, another one is being prepared with the participation of Seagal and director Kioni Waxman. The tandem has already worked together on the film “The maximum period"(2012) and the series "Crossroads of Death"(2010). The new painting is called “Contract to kill"(Contract to Kill).
According to Waxman, the new film will go into production within a week. Together with Seagal, the leading role in the film will be shared by Russell Wong (“Romeo Must Die”), and will do the fight choreography Ron Balicki (“Resident Evil 2”, “Sinners and Saints”). Filming will take place in Mexico and Istanbul.
Nothing more is known about the future film. We'll wait for news.

Don’t touch Seagal, he’s still a legend of action cinema.
Dave,
Well, yes. Legend. But legend differs from legend. Some people are still trying to keep their mark, while others (for example, Seagal) have let everything go to chance and do not care at all about their image and their audience, producing such “films.”
In the New Century, films with him were sometimes released that were really good, for example, Find the Killer, Ruslan, The Guardian, A Dangerous Man, Punitive Squad, A Good Man.
Seagal does not have troubles, but real Aikido, he is a master, but unfortunately his film career is in bad shape and probably there is nothing that can be improved.
Dave,
Maybe he had “aikido” before. But right now there are only flops left - no popular throws, no hyperflexes, nothing from classical aikido. He can simply shoot the enemy rather than fight him.
Stephen has long since slipped into the abyss of class “C” action movies))) Although the man is a real master of martial arts.
But once in the 90s he was popular for his original aikido! "Handbreaker")))
He needs to lose weight, get in shape, and star in a film, for example, where he is an aikido sensei, teaches sports to young people, etc.
But no, he plays former special forces, agents, soldiers, killers (((and the fights with him are no longer the same...
Active action star? who cares about Gary Daniels and Lorenzo Lamas, as well as Danny Trejo and the rest.
And the film will be with a typical Seagal with one facial expression for the entire film, with flapping (which for some reason was called aikido) and wide-shouldered suits. Seagal is already helpless.
Sings, it should be noted, quite well.
Takes in quantity...
