After seven months of intense and grueling filming, headed by the director Du Xiao, working on a film “The Legend of Shaolin Kung Fu 3: Heroes of the Great Desert” (Legend of Shaolin Kungfu 3: Heroes of the Great Desert) ended successfully at the end of April. Following in the tradition of the first films, the latest installment will also star various fighters in the roles of Shaolin monks, including Li Yuan, Xiu Peng Jun, Xie Miao, Xiu Ming Hu, Kao Jun etc.

Experienced fighters like Yuen Wa, Gordon Liu, Xiu Xingdong и Sammo Hunga and the rest were specially invited to play the roles of villains to ensure equality of arms and to please the audience with numerous authentic and complex fights. Sammo Hungg plays the role of the final villain Wang Shu Shang. In addition, an experienced actor Bao Guo An, the abbot from the first part, will appear on the screen again due to popular demand. Rounding out the cast Song Hui Ning, Yuki Moami, Ji Chun Hua и Wang Zhi Gang.
