Joe Lewis is fighting for his life

Sad news. A few weeks ago, the legendary martial artist Joe Lewis announced on his Facebook page that he had been diagnosed with brain cancer and, according to doctors, he had six to eight weeks to live.

Lewis considered by many to be the best karate fighter to ever step foot in the ring. During his 17-year career, he became a world champion 7 times and was added to various “halls of fame” 15 times. Joe Lewis also studied Jeet Kune Do at the very Bruce Lee and twice won the title “the greatest fighter of all time”.

If you want to support Joe Lewis, you can join others on the Facebook page called "Praying for Joe Lewis" (Praying for Joe Lewis).

Get well soon, Mr. Lewis!

Interesting Facts:

  • According to Bay Logan, in the film “Way of the Dragon” the role of the villain named Colt was supposed to be played by Joe, but before the start of filming, Lee and Lewis quarreled, so Chuck Norris was hired as a replacement.
  • In 2011, Joe Lewis starred alongside Tim Man in the Thai action film Kill 'em All.

This is an optical illusion. Chuck doesn't age, we all get younger.

Well, Chuck is already 71 years old. :)

I somehow didn’t follow the lives of these guys, but from some sources I heard about Bruce Lee: that they are all world champions in karate, Bill, nicknamed super leg Wallace, Chuck is a 7-time champion, and Lee especially singled out Joe Lewis. Lewis said that he became a champion more than once thanks to his training in Jeet Kune Do. . . Did I mix anything up?

Lewis is on the left, in the center is Wallace, whom he fought in the ring in 1990.

and Chuck has aged so much. . . Guys, is Joe Lewis on the left or in the middle? I've heard a lot about him, but I've never seen him

Yes, he is a good actor and fighter.
I remember his fight with Robin Shu in Bloody Battle 2: Cell of Death.
