Trailers for independent films "Black Lot", "Molly" and "Tomb Keepers"

British director, screenwriter and independent film producer Tom Peyton, who directed a fantasy thriller "Pandorica" (2016) and mystical horror "Redwood" (2017) just recently completed filming of his new film called "Black Plot" (Black Site), which is also horror in genre, but with an admixture of hand-to-hand combat.

Peyton plays the leading role in the upcoming film Samantha Schnitzler, who has been practicing kickboxing since an early age, and is also a professional gymnast and dancer. Samantha loved action films since childhood, and her main favorite among the characters was Lara Croft. It is not surprising that Schnitzler chose the path of a stuntman and body double, having already taken part in such major projects as "Pan: Journey to Neverland" (2015) "Doctor Strange" (2016) and "Justice League" (2017). For Samantha "Black Plot" will be his debut in terms of the leading role.

The film tells the story of orphan Ren Reed, whose parents were killed by members of an ancient race who call themselves the Elder Gods. 20 years later, Ren tracks, disarms and sends these same Gods to another dimension from where they came. The Artemis organization, where Ren works, tracked down the god Erobos, who once killed the main character’s parents. However, at a secret creature deportation site called the Black Site, Rem and a mysterious ally Sam must stand against human fanatics who want to free Erobos.

In addition to Samantha Schnitzler, this independent film featured: Chris Johnson ("Undercover Hooligan") Michael Buckingham ("Redwood") Bentley Kalu (“Avengers: Age of Ultron”) and others.

The film is scheduled for release in 2018, but the exact date is unknown. Therefore, we suggest watching the trailer.

The next independent action movie in our selection comes from the Netherlands and is called "Molly" (Molly). The film's genre is fantasy action.

The director's chair is shared Colinda Bongers и Tejs Miuiys, who previously worked mainly on short films.

The plot centers on a girl, Molly, who is fleeing from looters in a post-apocalyptic desert setting. The marauders want to capture Molly and make her a zombie-killing gladiator, since the girl has mysterious powers. However, when her friend is kidnapped, Molly goes on the warpath herself.

Starring in the film: Julia Batilan (TV series "Good Times, Bad Times") Just Bolt ("Lullaby for Bella") Tamara Brinkman (TV series “Good Times, Bad Times”) and other actors.

Well, judging by the trailer, we are in for quite an interesting spectacle, which reminded us of another entertaining post-apocalyptic action "Scorched earth" starring Gina Carano, the premiere of which was postponed again. This means that now we are waiting for both of these films.

The film has already premiered at the film festival Imagine Film Festival in Amsterdam back in February of this year. But the mass audience, unfortunately, "Molly" will not wait until 2018 at the earliest.

Let's finish the selection with an Australian-Chinese project "Keepers of the Tomb" (Guardians Of The Tomb), which previously had a different name - "Nest 3D". The film is not very on our topic, but we are already talking about it wrote, which means you need to say “B”.

Tomb Keepers is an action-adventure that follows a four-person team of archaeological scientists as they uncover a century-old mystery while excavating an ancient labyrinth somewhere in China. During the foray, the team loses one of their own and tries to find the man in the ancient catacombs. Amazing spiders with intelligence stand in the way of scientists. Scientists must unravel the secret of the deadly spiders before it's too late.

The director of the film is Kimble Randall, previously noted for the thriller "Director's Cut" (2000) and a disaster movie "Tsunami 3D" (2011)

The main roles in the film were performed by: Kellan Lutz ("Generation Killers") Li Bingbing ("Forbidden Kingdom") Tim Draxl ("Dangerous Dreams") Chun Woo (“14 Blades”) and other actors.

Let us remind you that the Chinese beauty Li Bingbing has been drawn to “fantastic beasts” for many years now: in recent years, the actress has taken part in such notable projects as "Resident Evil: Retribution" (2012) "Transformers: Age of Extinction" (2014) and "Zhong Kui: The Snow Maiden and the Dark Crystal" (2015). And for 2018, Lee is planning a film about a huge shark "MEG", where the Chinese woman’s partner will be Jason Statham.

Well, everyone can watch “Keepers of the Tomb” from January 1 2018 years, when the film goes into limited release.

Where do you get such translations of names from? Site this is a “place”, a “site”, and it’s like you’re making a movie about satanic web designers.

      Anton Clemens,

Heh, all this is due to the fact that you have to do everything _very_ quickly and many things happen automatically, alas. We'll fix it, thanks.

        Danil Chupakhin,
What's the hurry? It seems that no one else on the RuNet is trying to occupy your niche, and God forbid you post news twice a week. You will laugh, but you will have to correct it again, maybe “Dark Zone” or “Territory of Darkness” is better?

          Anton Clemens,

Let it be as it is for now. It’s unlikely that the film will be localized anyway. And we are in a hurry because, apart from this, we have plenty to do and we cannot pay due attention to the site and take a measured approach to writing materials. There is enough news and I would like them to appear on the site more often.
