A trailer has appeared online for an upcoming Chinese drama set in a disaster movie called "Come back home" (Come Back Home).
The film does not belong to the genre that our site is dedicated to, but we try to keep track of projects in which the main roles are given to iconic actors of action cinema. Same here - martial artist and actor Donnie Yen is the main character of the film by the director and screenwriter Lo Chi-Leung ("Kidnapping", "Phantom Bullets", "The Vanishing Killer"). The film was shot back in 2020 and then had other name, but the global pandemic delayed the premiere for almost two years.
Yen plays a father searching for his missing son in the frozen Chengbai Mountains. An army of rescuers helps him.
Donnie Yen (Ip Man franchise) not only played the lead role, but also produced the drama. Other roles include Cecilia Han (TV series “Heroes on a Dangerous Path”), Jia Bing (“Lost in Russia”) and other actors.
There is no specific premiere date yet, but "Come back home" due out in 2022. But there is a trailer in which Ian plays the drama very convincingly.
Like a bolt from the blue it became known that the film adaptation of the famous manga by Hiromu Arakawa "Fullmetal Alchemist"which he was engaged in Fumihiko Sori (“Ichi”, “Tomorrow Joe”) was continued in the form of two films.

В продолжение "Fullmetal Alchemist" The story of two brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, who are looking for the philosopher's stone in order to return Alphonse's body, will be further developed. Interwoven into the story is the antagonist Scar, who also needs the stone for his own purposes.
The main roles are still assigned Ryosuke Yamude (dilogy “Assassination Classroom”), Tsubasa Honda (“Remote Murders”), Dean Fujioka (“Pure Japanese”), Kanata Hongo ("Child of the Moon") Misako Renbutsu ("Samurai and the Cat"), Ryuta Sato (“Daytime Starfall”).
Of the newcomers, it is definitely worth mentioning the martial arts practitioner and actor Makenyu Aratu (“Pacific Rim 2”, “Tokyo Ghoul 2”, “Vagabond Kenshin: Endgame”), who got the role of the charismatic Scar, as well as Chiaki Kuriyama (duology “Kill Bill”, “Battle Royale”).
"Fullmetal Alchemist: Scar's Revenge" will be released in Japan 20 May, and the third film in the franchise starts 24 June 2022 year. Traditionally for the Japanese film industry, the trailer presents two films at once.
