This film is directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko (Spaceship Hayabusa) was filmed back in 2015, but the film's release was delayed due to lengthy post-production.

"Ten Braves of Sanada" or in Japanese Sanada Jûyûshi is positioned as a samurai action movie in the classic style and will tell the story of ten members of the ninja clan, who, while in the service of the samurai Yukimura Sanada, are sent on an important mission. All of this takes place in the setting of the late Sengoku period and the early Edo period.

Stars of modern Japanese cinema starred in the leading roles: Kankuro Nakamura (TV series "Shinsengumi") Tori Matsuzaka ("The King and I") Yuko Oshima (“Paper Moon”) and others. The film also featured a veteran of Japanese cinema Masae Kato (“Drive”, “Brother of the Yakuza”).

And if an intriguing teaser for the upcoming film appeared in March, then recently the creators became generous with the future. The footage hints at location shooting, live stunt work and minimal CGI intervention.

A trailer for a Japanese film has appeared online "High & Low: the movie", which is a full-length continuation of the successful series "High and Low: The Story of M.E.C.A.", where the frontmen of famous Japanese boy bands starred, the main one of which was the group EXILE in the following persons: Takanori Iwata, Nobuyuki Suzuki, Kanta SatoTaiki Sato, as well as a famous theater actor Tahiti Saotome.

The plot of the series, which stretched over two full seasons, tells the story of five street gangs who fight for control of the legendary city of Mugen, divided into five districts.

After two seasons of the series (2015-2016), the showrunners launched a short film Road to High & Low and the above-mentioned full-length film, which is a rethinking of the original story, where the ends of not only the television series, but also the comic book that is published based on it, must meet.

As can be seen from the synopsis, the plot of the series and the film is very similar to the plot of the film "Clans of Tokyo", which two years earlier was directed by Sion Sono. Only instead of the hip-hop that Sono's film was filled with, High & Low sounds like Japanese pop.

"High and Low: The Movie" directed by the director of the original series Shigeaki Kubo, not only retaining the maximum of the serial cast, but also adding new actors to it.

The film, like the series, contains many scenes of hand-to-hand combat, duels with weapons, elements of parkour and freerunning. Therefore, the picture should potentially be of interest to visitors to our site.

date of release "High & Low: the movie" assigned to July 16 current year.

An idea of what kind of film this is will be given to you by the trailer and future release that recently appeared on the Internet.

shinobi-no-kuni

Prolific Japanese director and screenwriter Yoshihiro Nakamura (“The Snow White Murder Case”) will join forces with actor and singer Satoshi Onom for a project called "Shinobi Country" (Shinobi no Kuni), which is based on the comic book of the same name Wada Ryo.

"Land of Shinobi" should be a really big project for Nakamura, who exploded at the Japanese box office this year with the comedy “Sir, where is my interest?”, parodying old jidaigeki films.

In turn, for Satoshi Ono, “Land of Shinobi” could be a ticket to a big movie, because at the moment Satoshi is more of a musician than an actor, despite his roles in TV series and a minor role in a feature-length trilogy "Life is complicated".

In the upcoming film, which is billed as a historical action film, Ono will play a lazy and disillusioned young Sengoku-era ninja named Mumon who finds himself at the center of a confrontation between the Iga clan and Oda Nobunaga's military forces.

Unlike his previous works, Yoshihiro Nakamura will not be writing the script for Shinobi Land, giving way to the author of the original comic. The start of filming is scheduled for next July, and the premiere is planned for the summer of 2017. Interestingly, another big-budget samurai action film by Takashi Miike - "Blade of the Immortal".
