Teaser for the action movie "Person of Interest" with Ken Zheng and Yayan Ruhian

Indonesian creative duo consisting of 2009 world karate champion Livy Zheng and Indonesian Chinese kickboxing champion Ken Zheng already proved that he can make a decent movie in 2014, when their film was released "Brush with Danger" (Brush With Danger).

Today the duo is back in active work. This time they are working on a film "In sight" (Insight), which is produced by an American film studio Stellar Films. As in the duo's debut film, Livy Zheng took on the directing duties, and her brother Ken took on the leading role. The creators of the upcoming film describe it as a poignant, heart-warming action film that will tell the story of a family tragedy. The described genre is very close to “Brush”, but we hope the creative duo will come up with something new.

An important fact for fans of action cinema will be the fact that the star of the films “Morentau” and “Raid” took part in the Zheng project. Yayan Ruhian, who not only plays one of the roles (most likely, he got the role of the main antagonist), but also does the fight choreography. In 2016, Rukhyan already appeared in several films: in a cameo with Iko Uwaisom in a blockbuster "Star Wars. Episode VII. The Force Awakens", in a short film by Gareth Evans Pre Vis Action and Japanese horror-action film by Takashi Miike "Yakuza Apocalypse". In the near future we will see Rukhyan and Yuwais in the sequel of the science fiction film "Skyline 2".

In addition to Ken Zheng and Yayan Ruhyan, the cast included: Kobe Azarly ("Code of Cain") Ron Balicki ("End of the day"), Madeleine Zima (TV series "Californication"), Tony Todd ("Candyman") Jeff Pruitt (TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) and others.

"In sight" is scheduled for release in Indonesia and the United States no earlier than the first half of 2017. We'll wait for news. In the meantime, you can watch the teaser of the future action movie. Everything about it seems to be extremely good. However, we did not see Yayan Ruhian there.

You probably still have to rely on the director.
    Off-top.
As history shows, an actor with a bias in biography is not capable of pulling off a film.
It's another matter if it's a serious dramatic actor, like Hanks, Downey Jr., Clooney or Mortinsen. They can.
The old BI directors are already tired, let's admit it. Alas, we criticize their latest films more and more.
Of the relatively new ones, only Evans comes to mind, and the guys from China, Thailand, Indonesia and Korea, the latter only for their own market, by and large work (well, for fans, like us))).

I apologize for being off topic, but maybe we’ve heard something about Iko Uwais’s upcoming film “Headshot”. Can't wait to take a look. There is only one hope left for Iko.

      Lindolion,

The film has been filmed and is being prepared for release. But no one has announced a release date yet.
