Sleeping dogs | Sleeping Dogs (2012): live action trailer

This is not a trailer for a future film, but for a video game from Square Enix London Studios called "Sleeping Dogs" / “Sleeping Dogs” (formerly “True Crime: Hong Kong”), which is due out in the second half of 2012 on PC, PS3 и Xbox 360. The most remarkable thing is that he choreographed the fights for the trailer Darren Shahlavi (Darren Shahlavi).

The creators promise a lot of shootouts, car chases and brutal fights. Players will be provided with a wide range of techniques so that they can deal with numerous enemies alone. Their arsenal will include powerful strikes, combinations, counterattacks and spectacular finishing moves using a huge number of environmental objects, from circular saws to telephone booths, from incinerators to refrigerator doors. This also applies to the cleaver - you can use it as you please.

Trailer for the game “Sleeping Dogs”

Note: The name of the game comes from the phrase “Let sleeping dogs lie”, i.e. “don’t wake a sleeping dog,” which figuratively means “don’t provoke problems,” “don’t renew old conflicts,” etc. In the Russian version: “Don’t wake up the trouble while it’s quiet.”

Passable. I even wanted to play with the toy when it came out.

Regardless of this trailer, I've always considered Darren to be a very underrated character in action cinema. It's a pity...

Crap! It would be better if the film was made, Daren has the talent of a director - tough and beautiful! I liked the trick “jumping with a foot and finishing off the nose with a hand” - the last fight near the bar!
