New projects by Scott Adkins, Dolph Lundgren, Michael Jai White and Jackie Chan

Hardworking hand-to-hand action hero Scott Adkins (the Undisputed franchise) doesn't seem to sit idle a day. While we are waiting for the action films announced with him "Castle Falls", "John Wick 4", "Day shift", "Fast Bodyguard" и "Vigilante", it became known about two more upcoming projects.

First, Adkins will once again team up with the iconic action movie actor Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables franchise) for the fifth film together entitled "Section Eight" (Section Eight).

The action movie was directed by Christian Sesma, familiar to us from action films "Avenger Chronicles" (2016) and "Dark Past" (2021) with Michael Jai White.

The film tells the story of a former soldier who, after avenging the murder of his family, is released from prison and is now recruited by a secret government agency to carry out a dangerous mission.

It is known that the bulk of the filming of the action film took place at the beginning of the summer, and Scott himself joined the project at the time of additional filming in the fall, as well as another famous actor - Mickey Rourke (“Skin Trade,” “The Expendables”). In a prominent role in the film you will be able to see Dermot Mulroney ("My Best Friend's Wedding", "Courier").

The film's release date is still unknown, but most likely "Section Eight" will not be released until summer 2022.

Here's the next project Scott Adkins fans of his work are definitely looking forward to it, because this is a sequel to the comic action movie "Accident" 2018. The second part is currently in the filming stage.

Handles the script Stu Small, who was the author of the story not only in the first film, but also in other action films by Adkins (“British Psychopath”, the “Collectors” duology). Scott himself helps Small.

"Accident" appealed to fans of hand-to-hand combat in cinema, including thanks to the participation in the film of such notable representatives of the genre as Michael Jai White, Ray Park, Amy Johnston и Tim Man.

As for the cast of the sequel, no big names have been announced yet. Good actors will return to their roles Ray Stevenson ("Book of Elijah") and Perry Benson (“Sid and Nancy”), but among those who can wave their arms and legs on the screen, we noticed a five-time member of the US national Wushu team Sarah Chan ("Trigonal: The Fight for Justice", "Blood Hungters: Rise of the Hybrids") and Andy Long aka Andres Nguyen (“Undisputed 4”, “Luke Van Tien”), who not only plays one of the roles, but also choreographs the fight choreography.

Instead of Jesse W. Johnson The director's place was taken by two filmmakers at once: George и Garry Kirby, who previously worked only with the short film format. For example, they took off video about the universe "Dragon Ball" and an action short film DRY

Unlikely "Accident 2" will be released before the end of next year or the beginning of 2023, but we are keeping our finger on the pulse. Including we are still expecting big names in the cast.

Another star of martial arts films has also signed up for another project - Michael Jai White ("Spawn", "Undisputed 2", "Triple Threat"). We're talking about an action thriller. Nogales the script was written by White himself.

At the director's helm is R. Ellis Frazier, which specializes in second-rate action films like "Misfire" (2014) and "Showdown" (2017) with Gary Daniels and "Theft" (2017) with Dolph Lundgren. A martial arts practitioner, veteran stuntman and director is responsible for the local action. Art Camacho (“Fantastic Fighter”, “Neither Alive nor Dead 2”, “Wild League”).

Synopsis: Shane Bryant, a man with a mysterious past, moves to a small Mexican border town to start over and live a simple life. While there, he reluctantly befriends a troubled local teenager who has recently lost his mother and has been recruited by a local street gang. However, while Shane raises the boy, introducing him to martial arts and taking on the role of mentor, teacher and father, his dark past catches up with the two main characters.

Michael, of course, plays the main role. The role of the troubled boy went to Luke Orielu (TV series “Shameless”), and the main antagonist in the action film was embodied by the well-known Louis Mandylor (dulogy “Collectors”). Also plays in the film Michael Copon ("Perfect Vacation", "Affair of State") who, as it turns out, is also a martial arts practitioner.

The film is at an active stage of filming and will be available no earlier than the second half of 2022.

Action movie superstar Jackie Chan and director Stanley Toon (“Rumble in the Bronx,” “First Strike,” “The Myth”) are teaming up for their seventh collaboration.

The film is called "Agent Panda" (The Panda Agent) and will be a comedy with action elements. It seems that we also described another expected project of Grandfather Chan - a comedy "On horseback".

Chan is accompanied by young actors Yang Yang (TV series "World of Martial Arts") and Ai Lun (“Kill Cell Phone”), which starred with Jackie in the recent "Vanguard" (2020). According to rumors, the role of the main villain in the future film may go to a martial artist and actor Jackie Wu (the “War of the Wolves” duology), who hasn’t acted in hand-to-hand action films for a long time.
