Motivational training video from the Movie-Do team

It just so happened that after I published a video on the site about “gang of sweet tooths” с David Jatarski, their team called "Movie-Do" Almost a week later I posted an excellent training video online.

It’s not for nothing that the authors called it “motivational” - I’m sure that this video can inspire many and give them confidence in their own abilities. As for the editing and other things, everything is done in the best possible way; epileptics can breathe a sigh of relief. :)

Team members: Eskindir Tesfaye (Eskindir Tesfay), Fong Zhang (Phong Giang) David Jatarski (Dawid Szatarski) Ken Aidin (Can Aydin) and Cha-Li Yoon (Cha-Lee Yoon).

The video is dedicated to the memory of the late Thai stuntman Eddie Senachaya (Eddi Senachai), who died in early 2009...

Even Mathis Landwehr, the main character of the series “Lasko”, after his untimely death Eddie I left my message on YouTube: “Rest in peace, brother!..”

After reading the messages of the majority, I came to this conclusion.
Have a variety of martial arts masters signed up here? Have you put your whole soul and body into training? Have you trained to perfection?
I also understood something else... that team in the video is very good at martial arts. And I’m even ready to say that those who unsubscribed in a provocative manner against them do not understand anything about it))

The title of the video is simply misleading: “beauty of Muay Thai”

The video is called “Movie-Do Motivational Training Reel” (Motivational training video from the Movie-Do team), not “beauty of Muay Thai” :)

ummm.....there really is nothing here from Muay Thai....even the stands don’t come close...yes, some actors (you can’t call them anything else) are good at hitting the paws and mosses, but that’s all.... .he’s skinny...so in general he just swings his legs and arms very quickly, a simple kick in the chest or limb will throw him off balance and send him flying...the rest hit well, hard...but again, if you look, it’s not even a hint of protection.....no one talks about realities....stunt guys....they don’t have to work in full contact....it’s clear that all these acrobatic stunts will not work for professionals..... the title of the video is simply misleading: “the beauty of Muay Thai”...seriously....from Muay Thai there is only the title......I watched the video several times....I noticed a few strikes with elbows and knees, but they so unsystematic and not professionally executed that it cannot be attributed to MT.... but yes...... the video was very well shot..... beautiful and motivational

Yes, there is no Muay Thai here...or rather, there is as much of it here as there is wushu, taekwondo, karate and other styles. High class tricking + parkour.

a type of martial arts - Muay Thai (if you are interested, google it) and as for the contact... look closely at how the paws fly off when hit... in my opinion everything is clear: D

    And the video is great.

The third ong bak is completely stupid and lame - you can see the money, but there is no soul. The first one was great.

EvilDollaR, of course I was talking about the PLOT. I just remembered the face of one actor who played an action star:

“Director, they have real knives. He cut me.”
"Okay, okay. Keep up the good work, hit them with all your might" =)

I agree about the elephants. Religion is not a religion, but when it comes to money, it fades into the background =(

It's not even a bad video!
fightr, you're probably ten years old if you can't tell the difference between a plot and a reality show... just watch Spider-Man... and tell me the full story... ahaha)

Of course, I’m not a great specialist, but in my humble opinion, the guys are above all praise! :) And the strength of the blows and their quality can be seen when working on bags, paws and with protective equipment - I was very impressed! Peace for everyone! :)

EvilDollar, it will turn out like in the King of Kickboxers with Evedon, Cook and Blenks. Where they filmed fighting games in which people really fight, with real weapons and fatal results, one of the heroes of the film. And you say Jha fights with full contact in his films...that's where the REAL CONTACT is.

      Author's gravatar

This is the plot of “The King of Kickboxers”, in it people on the set fought for real (I repeat, ACCORDING TO THE PLOT). Or was one of the actors killed for real? I haven't heard about this...

And this is not a reason to be proud of where and in which film more people were killed on the set. Are they measuring the number of corpses?.. I don’t see the point.

For example, Jaa’s 3 elephants died on the set of Ong-Bak 2. And what? Is this a reason for joy or pride? Or is this a sign that the fights are realistic? The Thais try to beat stuntmen who have protective pads under their clothes - so you get almost “full contact” or the illusion of it. I think it’s better than looking at pop stars jumping on ropes like “Pinocchio,” while the viewer sees only close-ups and continuous flickering in front of them. And darkness. What would it be like without her?

In most old American (and new) films, there was not only full contact, in many cases there was not even light touching. We selected the right camera angle, and that was it... They darkened it, added computer graphics (in new films), shook the camera properly, covered up the wires on the computer (by the way, this can be done even at home without problems), etc. and so on.

I’ll write about Evedon/Avedon a little later if I have time.

    Great guys, great video!
And who needs full contact, MMA can help!

    Author's gravatar

Banal swinging of legs... touching an opponent does not mean a good blow. First of all, you need contact.

      Author's gravatar

First of all, you need contact.

I can imagine how happy traumatologists and surgeons will be if actors and stuntmen hit each other in full contact during filming and training.

And it will be even more fun if you give them real weapons and force them to actually chop off heads/arms/legs and other parts of the body. But then the funeral home workers will be more happy. :)
