Company Vinegar Syndrome, which specializes in exclusive Blu-ray releases, has announced its new slate of releases, including the 1995 classic from Corey Yuen "Secret agent” , or "My father is a hero” , which is closer to the original (My Father is a Hero). The film stars Jet Li, Anita Mui, Xie Miao, Colin Chow, Yu Rongguang, Ken Lo.
Although the film was recently released as part of a Blu-ray triple pack from Eureka! Entertainment, this is the official US release. Previously, it was available only in the form of a not very successful reissue Miramax entitled "The Enforcers” . Release from Vinegar Syndrome will be rebuilt and will be a breath of fresh air compared to the previous one.
