Queen of hand-to-hand combat Cynthia Rothrock re-enters the arena. At Comic-Con 2024 in San Diego, she presented the first teaser for her new western “Black Brook” (Black Creek), successfully funded through crowdfunding, which was stated earlier.
"Black Brook” is a dark, gritty, dystopian action western with martial arts elements, starring action star Cynthia Rothrock. The plot centers on a sheriff's sister who seeks revenge against the fearsome leader of a group of outlaws after she learns that he brutally murdered her brother, his wife and other family members in a tough southwestern town.
Cult action stars took part in the film alongside Rothrock Richard Norton, Keith Cook, Don "Dragon" Wilson, Benny “Jet” Urquidez, Keith Vitali и Patrick Kilpatrick (the previously announced Olivier Gruner has not yet been seen).
Itself Rothrock not only played the main role, but also co-wrote the script with Robert Clancy и Jeff Gress and produced the project from scratch.
The film was directed by Shannon Lanier, a German martial artist Mike Moeller acted as a choreographer for fight scenes, creating brutal and dynamic action scenes. The film promises to be full of adrenaline and spectacular fights.
