Second trailer for the film "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time"

Disney has unveiled the second trailer for the upcoming film “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time” from producer Jerry Bruckheimer. It is a big-budget adaptation of the popular video game from Ubisoft, and more precisely, it combines elements of the Prince of Persia series of games.

The main character (Jake Gyllenhaal), a brave prince, together with the princess (Jemma Atterton) will try to stop the evil ruler (Ben Kingsley), who wants to cause a sandstorm that can destroy the world.

The filming is directed by Mike Newell, known for the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” Stunt coordinators: George Augustus Aguilar (Zombieland) and Greg Powell (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). The most interesting thing is that the coordinator of the parkour-related stunts (and hopefully there will be a fair amount of them, if the game is anything to go by) is none other than David Belle himself (District 13).

In some European countries the premiere will take place on May 19, in America the film will appear on May 28.
