"Hostile" Lundgren and "duty-bound" Mormando

Dolph Lundgren announced filming in a new film called "Malevolence", which can be translated as "Hostility". The company is responsible for production VMI Worldwide who already collaborated with Dolph in the film "Riot", which is now called in Russian localization "Jack Stone". By the way "Riot" we previously reviewed on our website.

Brandon, a participant in underground fighting, comes into conflict with crime boss Vincent. Vincent massacres Brandon's house and kills his entire family, but Brandon himself miraculously remains alive. Seven years after this tragedy, our hero works peacefully in a small restaurant as a dishwasher. But one day he finds robbers there, and fighting skills, as they say, cannot be wasted. Brandon's old trainer, Dutch ("Dutch"), convinces him to get into the ring again. As a result, the intrigue twists in such a way that our veteran again goes on the warpath with Vincent, his daughter turns out to be alive, and on top of everything else, the hero is diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage, which can kill him at any moment.

The rest of the cast of the film has not yet been announced, the film is scheduled for release in 2018, and it must be said that 59-year-old Dolph has been very productive lately. Perhaps Comrade Seagal should start worrying.

"Hostile" Lundgren and "duty-bound" Mormando

We already wrote earlier about filming a low-budget independent film "Bound By Debt"that can be translated as "Bound by duty." Starring a martial artist and actor Paul Mormando and the scriptwriter and director Paul's wife - Anna Mormando. In short, this is a family job in every sense of the word.

Dylan James is a rough and violent underground fighter who is estranged from his family due to his lifestyle. His brother Robert James is even worse; he is addicted to card games like a drug addict, but lives with his wife and two daughters. When Dylan tries to get out of the underground business, the local tournament organizer, Mr. Russo, sets his brother against him, blackmailing him with gambling debts and reprisals against his family. Two brothers must reunite to save the people close to them.

We recently received information that the film will not be viewed only by Mormando's friends and relatives, since the company Cinevest Interactive has acquired the rights to distribute the independent film worldwide. Perhaps “all over the world” is a rather strong word, but still.
